Is your child hugely excited about going abroad on work experience while you are a little worried and feel a bit more reassurance is needed? Worry not, group work experience is a great, educational and safe way to travel.
Group leader supervison
The groups are always accompanied by Halsbury group leaders. The group leaders are not there to "mother" the students; but they are there to support them on their educational travels and will be available 24/7. The group leaders will pay each student a visit at their work placement to ensure everything is going well and they will accompany the group for evening activities etc
Emergency phone line
Halsbury offer a 24 hour emergency phone number for all groups going out and you will always be able to get in touch with us. The group leaders also have emergency phones with them so you can always get a message to the students.
Benefits of doing work experience.
We have years of experience in helping young students travel abroad on work experience and there is no doubt about the great benefits. The students come back more confident, more independent, with improved language skills, experience of a new culture and with lots of new friends. The student receives a certificate at the end of the week and work experience abroad is a valuable asset to their CV for the future.
